Challah Egg Sandwich ft. Tevony Tachbisha

I’m off from work this week which means I have lots of time to play in the kitchen. Today I made a Challah Egg Sandwich using @tevonysauces Tachbisha Mediterranean Garlic Gourmet Spread and it was mighty tasty!


@tevonysauces was started by CEO and founder Hagit, a Long Island local businesswoman and single mother of six. With a push from her daughters, she decided to take her father Eli’s 40 year old family recipe for Tachbisha and share it with the world. Tachbisha is a sauce and spread that blends together delicious turmeric, garlic, olive oil, and a secret blend of spices that absolutely packs your meal with flavor. Hagit’s passion for family, and the way food brings family together was so apparent in our conversations, and very inspirational.

Challah Egg Sandwich ft. Tevony Tachbisha


Ingredients:

-Challah Bread, sliced

-Olive Oil Spray

-2 Eggs

-1 Campari Tomato, sliced

-Salt

-Pepper


Directions:

  1. Slice two pieces of Challah Bread. Toast to desired doneness.

  2. Spray small skillet with Olive Oil over. Heat over medium-low heat.

  3. Add eggs to skillet, be careful not to break yolks. Allow to cook until tops are no longer clear- about 5 minutes.

  4. Spread Tevony Tachbisha Mediterranean Garlic Gourmet Spread on both sides of the toast. Top one side with sliced Campari Tomato, Eggs, Salt, and Pepper. Place other slice of Challah on top and enjoy!
